Parent Center

The Dr. Owen Lloyd Knox Parent Center is located in Room 162 and is open to all parents. It is maintained by a Knox Parent Representative, Nancy Tenorio, to assist parents and provide community outreach. The mission of our Parent Center is to include parents as partners and to empower families with the tools necessary to support their child's education. Services offered in our Parent Center include: Parent Workshops,  Parent Strategies for Increasing Student Academic Achievement, Community Building Activities, opportunities for parent leadership, and volunteering. There are also computers and printers for parents to use to gain information about their student through the LAUSD portal. At Knox, we believe that parents play a vital role in their child's education. All parents are encouraged to visit our Parent Center.
