Kindergarten playtime helps foster crucial Kindergarten Readiness Skills. By interacting with objects, people, and the world around them children learn about their environment. These experiences build on and strengthen brain connections and development. Kindergarten playtime helps to enhance cognitive and language skills, encourage physical development, and provides social-emotional learning and school readiness.
At Knox our students spend their playtime bouncing around, exploring a variety of activities. Some activities include: riding tricycles, using the jungle gym equipment, sliding down the slide, jumping rope, playing with balls on the grass area, or simply relaxing at the lunch tables.
